Qn: Can humans ever glow?
Ans: Yes. Zebra fishes are used to detect pollution. They glow if there is mercury in the water. If the zebra fishes escape the compound and get eaten but other fishes, there might be a possibilty that the latter might glow. Which in turn, might allow us(humans) to glow if we comsume the fish. So far, it is still being looked into.

Qn: Is it possible if we can get genes from other than our parents? for e.g, from animals?
Ans: Yes. Every living thing has a DNA. If we consume the animal/plant, research shows that about 30% of the DNA is left in our body. But as we have saliva, the anti-bodies within us will destroy the foreign substances in us. However, there is no telling what will happen when it seeps into our blood streams. went to the library for 2 hours after soon. did some work and went for my evening cds class.

super busy these week..so much projects plus a presentation coming up on Monday. Today went to sch to do accounting project also didn't exactly do much. don't even know wat's going on. haha. think Fuad contributed the most. Zahirah and I just sat arnd staring and pressing the calculator for him. actually quite fun. joked arnd and enjoyed the air-con in the library.

oh ya.. Zahirah and I went to use the com labs. The printers are damn lousy. It kept jamming up and i had to keep on opening it. My fingers were full of ink. Even the girl beside us were having probs with the printer. I think we were more like mechanics. haha.

Supposed to go with Wei Jian to church today. But was too busy. haiz. can't believe i said that. Too busy to go to church. I really have to improve. And, i didn't meet him after church either. Feeling bad sia. So sorry.

Just done part of my speech for OB, another part to do. Haiz. So busy.

The chip is real!! OMG.. feeling very very scared. Just read an email from my mum. The chip is already made by Motorola and is 7mm long. As small as a grain of rice. It can't be removed or the lithium within the chip will spill and you will die. You will need it to purchase stuff and for verificationi purposes. Finally met up with my babes today. So long didn't see them. Unfortunately, only 6 were available. Ate Fish and Co. at TM it was greeaat! chatted quite a bit. And, and, and, bought my Adidias Cap! Woo hoo! so happy. But I think I kinda wasted money. Don't think i will be wearing it often. But, I love it! =)

Caught The Eye 2 after dinner. No one seemed to want to sit at the corner, so EVe, my Dear Noble Eve said she would sacrifise herself. Haha. Her hands were over her eyes troughtout the movie. I thought that the movie was quite funny. Hahaha. Or rather i was making stupid comments. Except for the last part where i had the shock of the day. Overall, nothing much, more touching then scary.

Cheryl's birthday was quite fun today..she so poor thing..got whipped cream all over her..but she still so cute to msg all of us that she enjoyed herself and it was superb..haha..

Today was officially the last training until exams were over.. quite fun until the end of training.. we were playing game and the last few points, we sort of 'quarrelled'.. how stupid could that get..quarrelling when we were a team..haiz..but everything was cool after that..

Watched Butterfly Effect today after sch with AYC and Uncle Fuad.. great show.. wasn't draggy nor boring.. it seemed as if each flas back was a new story.. very very interesting..got quite shocked at some parts.. and sunk low into my seat..hahaha..but it was kinda touching at the end.. i guess this story is really about what love is.. Its about sacrifising just to see the one you love be happy...met Ree Yi and her bro after the movie.. they were watching Dirty Dancing 2..saw quite a few more pple too..

Tiring day today..went to TJC for a friendly game today.. 6 of us went.. and 6 of us played..there was no reserves..so tiring.. think the one who really performed well was Yushan..our o xiang..haha.. wene to Bedok interchange for lunch.. ate soo much..haha.. came home, wanted to slp but had no chance..Zahirah came to do our MBS project..so stressed..haha..submission date is tml..
realised that i have a bus stats test and life science test tml..haven studied..haven even done my tutorials!!

I bought my MP3 today!!! Went with my family to the Suntec exhibition. Quite cheap. Bought it for $279, a 256 MB Creative MP3. With earphones, battery case, arm strap, Rechargable batteries all for that price.. Good deal huh.. So fun.. can start uploading them in now..

gotta study hard now.. just realised i have a science test on mon..die..haven started at all..have to study hard for my Dad le..feeling guilty..hahaa

Today was the finals of the Engineering Beach vball.. the sun was super hot.. I have turned totally black.. It took me a few months to get abit fairer..but 2 hrs to become charcoal..life is unfair~ hahaa.. played abit of vball too..fun fun fun..

William Hung was cute..especially when he did his trademark action..even his dancers all copied him too..hahaha..cute..

Yesterday, while doing the MBS proj, the com restarted.. luckily the information was auto-saved.. it turned out to be zahirah's toe tat triggered the restart.. she hit the restart button on the CPU.. and today, our com restarted twice! the first time we thought it was because of 1 ger.. that she was the cause of it and Zah even said loudly tat she irritating..hahaha.. and the second time, it couldn't be the ger or me.. cuz we did not touch any restart buttons..and once again, it was Zahirah! her moving legs under the table hit the wire.. it made the com restart..hahaa..see...jinx..

skipped econs class today to referee the beach vball games..fun! played beach vball after the competition ended..we shud play more in sch.. 2 more days of referee-ing!

We had a new Accounts teacher today..It was a lady..Was previously from Ngee Ann poly and Teaching in SIM, blah blah blah..didn't feel the need to really listen to her..I Hate her. Or mayb that's too strong a word.. Truely dislike would be a better would..My first impression would be a b*tch. She seemed to favour the guys. Well, Dun really care anyway.

Went to watch the movie Acacia after sch with Delong, Eddie, Joanne they all.. The movie was, erm.. not great.. not horror, tiny winie bit thrill and a whole lot of mystery. Plus, the ending was kinda stupid. but.. who cares.. reached home about 11pm today.. bored..

Felt sad to see the track people practising in the shelter cuz of the rain.. haiz..miss it even more.. anyway, vball wasn't really run today..except maybe the wet vball court..that was super fun! could slide about..but the hall was so lousy! i think a 5 or 6 million hall but so lousy without proper sheltering..the rain came thru and most part of the court were really wet.. almost fell while 'running'..

saw the 9.30pm news..the whole island was flooded.. the reporter said it was knee deep..even orchard road was totally flooded.. they predicted tat the rain would not let up for 3 days.. so pple, remember to bring your umbrellas! =)

met Chen Yang to go Bugis today..checked out the timing for the movie and went shopping to get his stuff.. He bought his pencil case and wallet in just 15 mins.. Unbelievable..I can never do tat..haha..caught the movie Dirty Dancing 2 at 4.00pm.. The show was great.. I would really recommand it.. The guy was cute, the dancing was great.. Everything went well except that the cinema at Bugis was so lousy. It felt like being in a concert hall.. The seats were about the same height (not sloping down), which made me feel short..haha..but I must admit it would be a great place for couples to do stuff..hee..

The show ended and we decided to go to Tampines Mall to watch the other movie.. We couldn't take the seats any longer..haha.. Bought my mag from Times and went to get the tickets for Along came Polly.. quite funny.. and touching too..and it had a little dirty dancing in it too..Great movies today..more for Erin Brockovich later..=)

Had quite a busy day today.. Went to Shss for a friendly game with Tp.. It was outdoor..super hot.. and the wind was quite strong.. gotten abit tanner now.. came home to rest until about evening..

Met Zahirah at abt 6.30pm to go for Li Ling's 21th brithday chalet at Costa Sands.. quite fun..did abit of bbq-ing, played abit of dai-dee and mahjong.. finally reached home at abt 12am..quite tired and sticky....time to bathe! =)

Actually I thing I realised while reflecting through the day. The guy that I have been looking for has long been infront of me. But I seemed to have no other choice but to let him go. I guess fate has not been with us. I somehow wish to go back to his arms. If only... if only... I had a chance to turn back the hands of time and change everything again. Everything would turn out differently than it was now.

Sometimes you wonder why other people's blog have so much writings. Like their day is never ending and always exciting. Unlike mine, so dull.

This morning I was awaken by Peck Sin. She called me at 10 plus about cds. So early. Couldn't go back to sleep so decided to choose my Cds too.. They didn't have the cds I wanted. I wanted 'The art of wining and dining'. I was so bagged on this course yesterday. Wanted it so much. Too bad. Hope I get into either Hospi or French.

Had science lab this afternoon at 3. Didn't even realise it was lab today. Friend called me at 3pm and i was still at home. Rushed like mad. haha. Still went to bathe. Lab was quite fun. Tested the DNA of an onion, learnt about different genes that our ancestors passed to us. Like, Rolling of the tongue, dimples, attached or free earlobes, continuous hairline..etc.. so interesting.

And tada! Tat's my whole day! =)
