I'm back from Thailand everyone~!!
My flight back to Singapore from Hat Yai had been delayed last night. Was only able to touch down about 1.30am this morning. I was super tired. Slept only about an hour the previous night as I had drunk too much Red Bull and Vodka. Images kept popping up in my mind when i tried to sleep.
Well, my whole Thailand trip was just great. I learnt so much from it. The experience there and interacting with players from different countries just made the whole trip the best! 8 players (4 guys, 4 girls), 1 referee and an instructor represented Singapore.
We stayed in 2 places, Phatthalung & Songkhla. The living conditions in Pathalung was bad. Or rather, just my room. It was a resort that were on stilts in the river. The air-con was spoilt. It kept splurting out hot air every few mins, plus the fan in the room acted as though it was going to break down any moment. Every night, there would be tons of fat, fat lizzards outside our room. damn scary. i was so thankful when we left for a hotel in Songkhla. Next to the resort, the hotel appeared 5 stars. The weather in Thailand was horrendous. The sun was scorching down like nobody's business. It wasn't practical to bathe in the middle of the day, once u stepped out of your room, you would be perspiring.
There was this Water Festival in Thailand. All of us participated. We bought huge water guns and walked around the streets spraying anyone we saw. Damn fun. So we would be walking and suddenly a stranger would throw water at you. Some would rub powder on your face which had menthol. so obviously if u didn't clean it off and i dried, your face would burn up. They believe that by doing all these, the water will cleanse you and give you luck.
